Gorey Pipe Band is based in Gorey, County Wexford, Ireland. The town has a long piping tradition, with references to earlier local bands such as Gorey Trade and Labour Pipe Band and St Michael’s Pipe Band, showing that pipe band music has been part of the area’s cultural life for many decades.

The present Gorey Pipe Band continues that tradition through community performances, parades, remembrance events and competition. Recent public activity shows the band performing around Gorey for events such as Remembrance services, Christmas celebrations and local civic occasions.

The band has also competed outside Ireland, including appearances at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow. Today, Gorey Pipe Band remains an active part of County Wexford’s pipe band scene, supporting local music, public events and the wider Irish pipe band tradition.
