About the Band
Kilbarchan Pipe Band is a community pipe band from Kilbarchan, Renfrewshire. The current band was re-formed in 2002 after a conversation in a local pub!
Since then, it has grown steadily as both a competing band and a teaching organisation.
A major milestone came in 2022, when Kilbarchan enjoyed an outstanding Grade 4B season, becoming UK, British and European Champions, as well as Champion of Champions. That success earned promotion to Grade 4A.
The band continued its rise and announced promotion to Grade 3B for the 2024 season, marking another step up the competitive ladder.
