Durban Caledonian Society Pipe Band, often known as Durban Callies, is based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The band was re-established in March 2019 and has since grown into one of South Africa’s active competition and performance pipe band organisations.

The band fields both Grade 2 and Grade 4 groups, performing at concerts, formal engagements, Highland gatherings and competitions locally and nationally. It competes in the South African pipe band circuit and has also collaborated with Pietermaritzburg Pipe Band, including the combined KZN Callies Pipe Band project.

Durban Caledonian Society Pipe Band is run by volunteers and supports tuition in bagpipes, snare, tenor and bass drumming for both young people and adults in the Durban, Highway and Pietermaritzburg areas. Today, it continues to promote Scottish piping and drumming in KwaZulu-Natal through teaching, competition and public performance.
