East Kilbride Pipe Band is based in South Lanarkshire and represents one of Scotland’s major post-war new towns. The band has been active in the local community for many years, performing at civic events, parades, gala days, remembrance occasions and public celebrations across East Kilbride and the wider Lanarkshire area.

The band has also competed under the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association structure, with recent activity including tuition nights, full band practices and public performances. Current information shows the band running tuition at Canberra Primary School, reflecting its ongoing role in teaching and developing pipers and drummers.

East Kilbride Pipe Band continues to support Highland piping and drumming through performance, competition and learner development, helping keep pipe band music active in the town and surrounding communities.
