City of Manchester Pipe Band is a competition and community pipe band based in Manchester, England. The band has roots in the north-west English pipe band scene and appears to have been active by the early 1970s, with records noting Owen Nash as Pipe Major of the Grade 3 City of Manchester Pipe Band during that period. By 1975, the band had grown enough to support a second Grade 4 band.
