Ellon & District Royal British Legion Pipe Band is based in Ellon, Aberdeenshire. It began as Ellon & District Pipe Band, formed around 1974–75, and first appeared publicly in 1976. The band later became linked with the Ellon Branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland, giving it its present identity.

The band’s purpose is to promote Highland piping and drumming, provide tuition, especially for younger players, and support community events, public engagements and competitions. It is affiliated with the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association and the North of Scotland Branch.

In recent years, Ellon & District RBL has continued to compete and perform across the north-east of Scotland, including Grade 4B competition appearances. It remains an active community band, combining teaching, local service, Royal British Legion links and competition work.
