Tynecastle Youth Community Pipe Band is an Edinburgh-based youth music project established in 2015–16. It was created to provide young people in the Tynecastle school catchment area with access to piping and drumming tuition, including free lessons and instrument loans.

The band works with pupils from primary school through secondary level and supports young players through in-school tuition, after-school lessons and band practice. Its aim is to make pipe band music accessible to young people from a wide range of backgrounds, while building confidence, discipline and teamwork.

Tynecastle has developed into an active youth and community band, performing at local events and building a competition presence, including Grade 4B activity. Today, it continues to promote piping and drumming in west Edinburgh through teaching, performance and community involvement.
