Kamloops Pipe Band is based in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. Its roots go back to the Kamloops Legion Pipe Band, with a lasting local pipe band foundation established in 1962 through support from Royal Canadian Legion Branch #52.

The band later became its own society in the 1970s, developing under a number of Pipe Majors including Glen Esdale, Bob Gallaher, Edmond Chilton and Kevin MacDonald. In more recent years, the band has been led for over two decades by Pipe Major Scot Kortegaard.

Kamloops Pipe Band Society continues as a community pipe band, performing locally and supporting Scottish cultural music in the Thompson/Okanagan region. Its role is less about grand championship mythology and more about the solid work every community band knows well: teaching, rehearsing, parades, performances, and keeping the drones alive in a city better known for heat, hills and hockey than Highland weather.
