About the Band

Graham Memorial Clontibret Pipe Band is based in Clontibret, County Monaghan, Ireland. The band was founded in 1967 by Kenny Graham and was originally known as Clontibret Pipe Band, practising from Clontibret Orange Hall on the old Castleblayney Road.

The band later adopted the name Graham Memorial Clontibret Pipe Band in memory of Kenny Graham, its founding member. A 2022 dedication night formally marked the renaming and also raised funds for Cavan Monaghan Palliative Care and the Liver Unit at St Vincent’s, reflecting the band’s strong local and charitable ties.

Competitively, Graham Memorial Clontibret has been active in the Irish and wider pipe band scene, including appearances at the World Pipe Band Championships and All-Ireland Championships. Public footage and listings show the band competing in Grade 4B in recent years.
