Pipe Band Rankings is now up and running...

Pipe Band Rankings is Live

We are delighted to announce the launch of Pipe Band Rankings, a new online home for exploring pipe band competition results, band profiles, rankings, news, and performance data.

The aim is simple: make pipe band information easier to find, easier to compare, and more useful for everyone who follows the scene, whether you are a player, judge, tutor, band member, supporter, or just someone who enjoys watching the contest season unfold.

Why Pipe Band Rankings?

Pipe band results are full of stories. A placing on the day is only part of the picture. Behind every contest sheet there are patterns, improvements, surprises, close calls, and the occasional result that makes folk stare at the screen and say, “Aye, explain that one.”

Pipe Band Rankings has been created to help bring that information together in one place.

  • Band profiles and background information
  • Competition results and summaries
  • Ranking tables and performance trends
  • News and updates from across the pipe band world
  • Useful links and resources for bands and followers

Built for Pipe Band People

The site has been built with the pipe band community in mind. It recognises that the scene is international, passionate, detailed, and, at times, wonderfully obsessive. Results matter. Grades matter. Consistency matters. And yes, drumming matters too, before anyone starts.

What Happens Next?

The launch version is only the beginning. More features, refinements, data improvements, and content will be added over time.

Planned areas of development include deeper ranking analysis, richer band information, competition history, improved search and filtering, and more regular news updates.

A New Resource for the Pipe Band Community

Pipe Band Rankings is here to celebrate the bands, the players, the contests, and the data behind the performances.

Welcome to Pipe Band Rankings. The site is live, the results are waiting, and the season has a new place to be followed. Slàinte.
