About the Band
The Guelph-Peel Juvenile Pipe Band is a youth collaboration involving Guelph Pipe Band and Peel Regional Police Pipe Band.
Public competition notes from the 2025 Glengarry Highland Games describe it as part of the first juvenile pipe band contest in Ontario for many years, where Guelph-Peel Juvenile Pipe Band placed third.
Its roots are tied to the longer history of the Guelph Pipe Band, founded in 1922 and continuously active since, and to Peel’s youth development efforts.
The juvenile band therefore looks less like a century-old standalone organisation and more like a modern development pathway designed to get young pipers and drummers into competition.
