The Vienna Pipes & Drums is a Scottish bagpipe band based in Vienna, Austria. The band was formed in 1997 and brings together musicians from Austria and Scotland, performing in traditional Highland dress and wearing the Loch Lomond Millennium tartan.

The band performs regularly at events in Vienna and across Austria, while also travelling further afield for performances and competitions in countries including Italy, the Czech Republic, Germany, Belgium, and Scotland. It has also hosted cultural events such as Burns Suppers, helping promote Scottish music and tradition in Austria.

Vienna Pipes & Drums has represented Austria internationally, including appearances connected with the World Pipe Band Championships, where it was noted as the first Austrian pipe band to take part. Today, the band remains active in the European pipe band scene, combining community performance, cultural promotion, and competition work. A proper Austrian-Scottish hybrid: Mozart’s city, Highland drones, and reeds probably behaving worse than the violins.
