The band is especially associated with the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City and has appeared in hundreds of regional parades and festivals. It has also competed in the Midwest pipe band scene, including regular appearances at the U.S. Open Pipe Band Championship, where it achieved strong results including a first-place drum section in 2014.
