Golden City Pipe Band is based in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. The band was founded in 1951 and has built a long record of community involvement across Bendigo, Eaglehawk and wider regional Victoria, including parades, shows, ANZAC Day services, Australia Day events, charity appearances and other civic occasions.

The band’s own site notes that across almost 75 years, Golden City has produced many pipers and drummers who have gone on to play with top-grade bands around the world. Its public social media also marked a 75th anniversary celebration, confirming the band’s long-running place in the Victorian pipe band scene.

Golden City remains active today as both a community and competition organisation. Recent public material shows the band involved in Scots on Show, its Bendigo Scottish festival, and competing in Grade 4B mini band events.
